About
Epona Muse Publishing began, as many things do, with a question. Has anyone written or published any books about (topic)? No, no one could think of any books, but I as a publishing professional and someone deeply, intimately affected by the topic knew what I had to do. And so, Epona Muse Publishing was born.
Epona Muse Publishing is publishing with a purpose. We seek to bring marginalized voices to the fore by discussing things often left out of mainstream conversations.
Our focus is on neurodivergent individuals, those with chronic illness and/or disability, LGBTQIA+ topics, and the publishing industry. Some of our anthologies will intersect these topics, creating a beautiful venn diagram of lived experiences and personal truths. Others will focus on one topic or aspect.
Who we are
Kit Caelsto
they/them
Kit runs Epona Author Solutions and Chicken Yogi (including Unscramblet by Chicken Yogi), two different businesses with the same mission–to share ways to make the world a better place for people who don’t fit into a one-size-fits-all world. With a focus on health and wellness, as well as work-life balance, and technical solutions, they bring over a decade of experience as a publisher to Epona Muse to create a publishing platform that nurtures.
Kit has been published in one form or another since before the turn of the century. They began with nonfiction, mostly centered around paganism and spirituality, but then quickly moved to fiction. The pendulum has swung again and they’re now focusing on non-fiction once more.
Kit is an editor, author, speaker/podcaster, and identifies as genderqueer and AutiGender. They’re neurodivergent (AuDHD+), chronically ill/disabled, and is passionate about equity, inclusion, and lived experiences.
From their homestead in the Missouri Ozarks, which they share with their spouse, a large kitty committee, and their special interests, horses and chickens. They can be found in their office cabin working on their next book or helping clients do the same.
